Terms & Conditions
Last updated: August 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the KabaKaba mobile application or website (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
2. Platform Description
KabaKaba is a technology platform that connects riders and senders with independent driver partners offering motorcycle (okada), tricycle (aboboyaa), shared taxi, and courier/goods delivery services across Ghana.
KabaKaba does not itself provide transportation or courier services — these are provided by independent driver partners using the Platform.
3. User Accounts
To use the Platform, you must create an account and provide accurate, current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create a rider account.
4. Rider Responsibilities
Riders agree to provide accurate pickup and drop-off information, treat driver partners with respect, pay the fare shown at booking, and comply with applicable laws while using the Platform.
Misuse of the Platform, including fraudulent bookings or abusive conduct, may result in account suspension.
5. Driver Partner Responsibilities
Driver partners must hold a valid DVLA commercial licence appropriate to their vehicle type, maintain valid vehicle registration and insurance, and comply with Ghana's road traffic laws at all times.
Driver partners are independent contractors and are responsible for their own tax and regulatory obligations.
6. Payments & Fares
Fares are calculated and displayed before a trip is confirmed. Payment may be made by cash or Mobile Money (MTN Mobile Money, Telecel Cash, or AT Money) as supported by the Platform.
KabaKaba retains a service commission on completed trips as disclosed within the driver app.
7. Cancellations
Riders and driver partners may cancel a trip before it begins, subject to the cancellation terms shown in the app. Repeated or abusive cancellations may affect account standing.
8. Safety & Conduct
KabaKaba is committed to the safety of everyone using the Platform. Users must not engage in behaviour that endangers themselves or others, including reckless driving, harassment, or carrying prohibited items.
Emergency and safety features available in the app are described on our Safety page.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KabaKaba's liability arising from use of the Platform is limited as set out in this section.
[Placeholder — specific liability limitations and exclusions to be finalised with legal counsel.]
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ghana.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website.
Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Contact
